Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Credentialing Assistant to join its Physicians Network. In this hybrid role, you will support and facilitate all aspects of the system credentials verification process for medical staff and managed care provider appointments and re-appointments.
What You'll Do
- Serve as accountable for initial and continuous verification of credentials for medical staff members, healthcare, and allied health providers.
- Ensure maintenance of current and accurate data in the system credentials database, utilizing it to produce reports, lists, and rosters.
- Maintain permanent credentials files for all applicable providers, assuring accuracy and readiness for review or audit.
- Participate in training and development of HMP personnel on credentialing verification issues.
- Assure the confidentiality and integrity of all aspects of the credentialing verification program.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or a combination of education and/or experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Skills in Credentialing, Medical Offices, and Medical Staff Credentialing.

- Compensation: $20.57 - $30.84 / Hourly.
