HireHawk is looking for a Creative Strategist - Paid Media to join a high-growth beauty brand. In this mid-senior level role, you’ll own and scale performance creative across paid social and video channels, sitting at the intersection of psychology, storytelling, and data. You’ll be responsible for building systems and turning insights into repeatable creative winners.
What You'll Do
- Own creative strategy for paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels to drive profitable growth.
- Develop creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging frameworks rooted in customer psychology and performance data.
- Build and maintain creative testing roadmaps that identify what to test, why it matters, and how winners scale.
- Translate performance insights into actionable creative direction by analyzing CPA, CTR, hook rate, and hold rate metrics.
- Establish internal creative systems including briefs, naming conventions, testing frameworks, and documentation to support scalable growth.
What We're Looking For
- 3–7 years of performance marketing creative experience within direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand environments.
- Proven ability to develop performance-driven ads that scale profitably across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong quantitative and data literacy skills, with the ability to analyze key metrics such as CPA, CTR, hook rate, thumb-stop rate, and hold rate.
- Hands-on experience using Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
- Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles, including building effective hooks and offers, addressing objections, creating urgency, and incorporating social proof.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to guide and collaborate with creative teams (video editors, designers, and content creators).
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth marketing environments with a proactive and organized approach to creative strategy.
- Experience analyzing competitive advertising landscapes and identifying creative opportunities across digital platforms.
- Advanced storytelling skills optimized for mobile-first, fast-scrolling digital audiences.
- Proficiency with creative analytics tools such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, Google Analytics, and/or native platform reporting tools.
