Paired is seeking a Creative Strategist to architect and scale the creative engine for a direct-to-consumer brand's advertising across Meta and Instagram. This senior role blends consumer psychology, strategic copywriting, creative direction, and AI workflows to produce winning ad concepts.
What You'll Do
- Conduct deep customer and market research to understand buying triggers, objections, and audience belief systems.
- Define core messaging angles, hooks, and frameworks based on audience sophistication.
- Write and guide high-converting ad scripts, hooks, and narratives.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, concept generation, scripting, and iteration.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI tools and prompting techniques to scale creative output.
- Identify and brief creators who authentically match the brand’s energy and audience.
- Direct creators on storytelling, framing, and delivery for high-performing UGC-style ads.
- Track viral and emerging organic trends weekly.
- Translate cultural hooks and formats into scalable paid ad concepts.
- Ensure ads feel native, modern, and scroll-stopping.
- Act as the final creative gatekeeper, reviewing cuts for pacing, clarity, emotional impact, and retention.
- Analyze creative performance inside Meta Ads Manager to diagnose why concepts win or lose.
- Turn performance insights into structured briefs and next-round creative iterations.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Creative Strategist, Creative Director, or Performance Creative Lead for DTC brands.
- Deep understanding of Meta/Instagram video ads and short-form storytelling mechanics.
- Strong foundation in direct-response copywriting and consumer psychology.
- Experience building and scaling winning creative systems, not just one-off ads.
- Comfortable working with editors, creators, media buyers, and founders.
- A portfolio of past winning ad concepts, scripts, and video campaigns.
