The Creative Director will lead the transformation of David Laroche's personal brand into a global, iconic company brand for Paradox, an EdTech company building an Operating System for Greatness. This role requires full ownership of content strategy, creation, and team leadership to produce high-impact, cinematic learning experiences that drive growth and behavioral change at scale.
What You'll Do
- Architect a dual-brand strategy that synergistically scales David Laroche’s personal brand and Paradox’s company brand without cannibalization.
- Propose radical new content formats (e.g., documentaries, reality shows, conceptual shorts) that disrupt the self-help industry.
- Define distinct editorial lines for each platform: Depth & Search for YouTube, Aesthetic & Vibe for Instagram, and Authority & Authenticity for LinkedIn.
- Take full ownership of concepting through delivery: write hooks, storyboard narratives, and ensure final cuts match creative vision.
- Deliver on all pitched concepts by sourcing, hiring, and onboarding necessary talent (e.g., motion designers, drone operators, niche experts).
- Treat David Laroche as the 'Actor' on set: manage scripts, sets, and direction so he can perform without mental load.
- Lead the internal content team (Factory Manager, Video Editors, Graphic Designers) by setting tempo, culture, and standards of excellence.
- Provide high-level artistic direction and serve as final quality gatekeeper; no content publishes unless it meets the 'Paradox Standard' of aesthetics and storytelling.
- Push the team to continuously upskill in areas like sharper cuts, better sound design, and stronger visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with the Head of Growth to create content assets specifically designed to convert in advertising campaigns.
- Analyze retention graphs, CTR, and CPL to iterate quickly, kill underperforming content, and scale what works.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience growing a media brand, YouTube channel, or personal brand to significant scale (100k+ followers or millions of views).
- Understanding of virality and retention mechanics.
- Experience managing a creative team (editors, designers) and providing feedback that elevates work from 'good' to 'masterpiece'.
- Elite scripting skills with demonstrable examples of high-performing scripts.
- Ability to structure compelling narratives, write scroll-stopping hooks, and maintain audience engagement for 20+ minutes.
- Experience in performance-driven environments where content directly impacts business results (ads, launches, conversion).
- Native or bilingual proficiency in French.
- Fluent English with ability to discuss specific details with English-speaking colleagues.
- Written communication primarily in English.
Team & Environment
