Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the organization to ensure client requirements are accurately interpreted and fulfilled.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication to support precise order processing, scheduling, relationship management, problem resolution, and performance tracking.
- Take ownership of correct order input and acceptance, shipment tracing, and scheduling appointments.
- Confirm all pickup and delivery appointments are scheduled and recorded in the system within required timeframes.
- Manage daily operations for a designated group of drivers, including monitoring and responding to messages related to drivers, equipment, and freight.
- Coordinate and track driver home time schedules.
- Ensure system data accurately reflects real-time events and timelines.
- Supply routing guidance to drivers as needed.
- Keep estimated and planned times of arrival current and reliable.
- Verify that all daily fleet activities are confirmed and finalized by the end of each shift.
- Arrange freight bookings and maintain communication with customers.
- Analyze truck availability and shipment needs to optimize assignments, aligning driver schedules and home time with customer commitments in coordination with dispatch teams.
