About the Role

This role is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating events that strengthen relationships with corporate partners, driving engagement through strategic coordination and operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for corporate partnership events
  • Serve as the main point of contact for corporate partners during event planning
  • Develop event timelines and manage key milestones
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align event goals with organizational objectives
  • Prepare event briefs and briefing materials for stakeholders
  • Track event budgets and manage expense reporting
  • Ensure brand consistency across all event materials and communications
  • Gather and analyze post-event feedback from partners
  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and event outcomes
  • Support the development of engagement strategies for corporate sponsors
  • Coordinate travel and accommodations for partner representatives
  • Manage event registration and participant tracking systems
  • Oversee on-site event operations and troubleshoot issues
  • Produce post-event summaries and performance reports
  • Facilitate volunteer coordination for partner-led activities
  • Assist in creating sponsorship fulfillment documentation
  • Monitor compliance with safety and accessibility standards
  • Liaise with vendors and external service providers
  • Support fundraising integration within events
  • Promote inclusivity and accessibility in event design
  • Stay updated on industry trends in corporate engagement
  • Escalate partner concerns to senior staff when needed
  • Ensure timely follow-up with partners after events
  • Maintain a calendar of all partnership-related activities
  • Contribute to long-term event planning and strategy

JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey. Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity agenda. Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.
