AMP: AI-Powered Sortation for Waste and Recycling is hiring a Corporate IT Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small Corporate IT team of 1 to 3 members, overseeing Helpdesk operations, employee onboarding and offboarding, administration of GSuite and enterprise SaaS platforms, and driving initiatives to enhance systems, policies, and workflows
  • Develop and maintain a quarterly roadmap for IT projects to align with organizational goals
  • Supervise Helpdesk functions, provide mentorship to team members, and assist with resolution of complex technical issues
  • Collaborate across departments to establish and enforce IT policies that strengthen internal governance and security posture
  • Manage the professional development of 1 to 3 IT specialists through regular one-on-one meetings, career planning, and performance evaluations, in coordination with the Software management team
  • Monitor and control IT department spending in alignment with the approved budget, under guidance from the Director of Software
  • Cultivate a collaborative and service-focused team culture grounded in trust, openness, and environmental sustainability
  • Lead recruitment efforts for the IT team, including designing interview processes, conducting candidate debriefs, and integrating new hires

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field, or a comparable mix of technical education and professional experience
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar IT role
  • At least one year managing and configuring enterprise SaaS platforms such as Netsuite, Salesforce, Jira, or equivalent systems
  • Hands-on experience administering GSuite domains
  • Proven ability to lead a small team while handling diverse technical and operational responsibilities

Nice to Have

  • One or more years of direct IT team management experience
  • Experience in IT networking initiatives or resolving network-related issues
  • Track record of developing and executing IT project roadmaps
  • Experience creating or enforcing IT policies in accordance with regulatory or corporate governance requirements
  • Adoption of a cloud-first approach in managing IT infrastructure and services
