Join Raiffeisen Bank International AG as a Corporate Credit Risk Manager, contributing to the evaluation and management of credit risk for corporate customers within the RBI Group. This role focuses on non-cyclical industries and can be filled at a Junior or Professional level based on your relevant experience.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate credit risk for limit applications, including identifying relevant risk factors.
- Conduct market and peer analysis related to transactions, counterparties, and industry developments.
- Support business applicants in structuring facilities and assessing terms and conditions, including proposing suitable structuring options.
- Build and maintain expertise in relevant industries and products, including ESG-related risk aspects.
- Present risk management recommendations to senior decision-making bodies, including the RBI Corporate Credit Committee.
- Carry out early-warning and pre-workout activities to help reduce potential future non-performing exposures and credit losses.
- Participate in selected client meetings as a representative of the department or division.
- Contribute to the evaluation of product policies, participate in projects and working groups, and support the definition of underwriting criteria for lending policies.
- Apply regulatory frameworks (EBA Guidelines, CRR/CRD, Basel III/IV, IFRS 9) in daily credit-related decisions.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a comparable field.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in corporate or FI banking (e.g., credit risk management, credit analysis, relationship management, product management).
- Ability to approach credit decisions with a risk-aware mindset and to consider broader business implications.
- Capability to align across different functional areas (e.g., relationship management, product management, credit analysis, collateral management, workout) and coordinate with senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in English for written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with quantitative risk concepts (e.g., rating models, data analytics tools) and AI-supported tools.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Nice to Have
- German or a CEE language is beneficial.
