Responsibilities

- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on legal implications of new features
- Monitor evolving regulations affecting digital products and cloud services
- Provide input on incident response and data breach protocols
- Ensure adherence to consumer protection and advertising laws
- Guide internal teams on open source software obligations
- Evaluate legal risks associated with AI and machine learning applications
- Assist in regulatory reporting and audits
- Maintain documentation for compliance frameworks
- Partner with global teams on regional legal requirements
- Support due diligence in acquisitions or partnerships
- Develop training materials on compliance topics
- Respond to internal legal inquiries from business units
- Review marketing content for regulatory alignment
- Stay current on technology law trends and enforcement actions
- Work with external counsel when necessary
- Help shape product design to meet legal standards
- Manage legal holds and discovery processes
- Contribute to policy development for data handling
- Assess third-party vendor risks
- Ensure compliance with export controls and sanctions
