Responsibilities
- Advise on corporate governance procedures and documentation
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
- Ensure regulatory compliance across federal and state jurisdictions
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions
- Manage intellectual property protection strategies
- Provide legal input on risk assessment and mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational initiatives
- Interpret laws, regulations, and policies affecting operations
- Oversee external legal counsel when necessary
- Maintain corporate records and entity filings
- Assist with securities law compliance and reporting
- Guide internal teams on contractual obligations and liabilities
- Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations
- Support compliance training programs for employees
- Evaluate legal risks associated with new projects
- Participate in due diligence activities
- Develop and implement standardized contract templates
- Advise on data privacy and cybersecurity legal requirements
- Support government contracting compliance
- Work closely with executive leadership on strategic decisions
