About the Role

The Corporate Controller will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective internal controls while supporting organizational growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with GAAP
  • Oversee tax preparation and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Manage internal controls and lead audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial planning
  • Supervise accounting staff and support professional development
  • Implement and improve financial systems and processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Lead the evaluation of new accounting software and technology solutions
  • Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting
  • Streamline financial reporting for executive and board-level review
  • Support merger and acquisition due diligence and integration activities
  • Monitor cash flow and work with treasury functions
  • Ensure proper handling of payroll, benefits, and related accounting
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation tracking
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings
  • Provide financial insights to support operational decisions
  • Lead special projects related to financial transformation
  • Ensure data integrity across financial systems
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
  • Support compliance with SOX requirements
  • Evaluate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
