About the Role
The Corporate Attorney will provide legal guidance on corporate matters, contracts, compliance, and risk management, supporting internal teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Advise on corporate governance and entity management
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
- Manage legal risks associated with real estate and construction projects
- Collaborate with internal departments to interpret legal implications
- Maintain corporate records and organizational documents
- Provide counsel on intellectual property matters
- Assist with dispute resolution and litigation management
- Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations
- Develop and deliver legal training to staff
- Oversee outside counsel when necessary
- Handle data privacy and cybersecurity legal issues
- Support human resources on employment law matters
- Evaluate insurance and liability concerns
- Guide compliance in client-facing project deliverables
- Assist with procurement and vendor contracts
- Manage board and shareholder documentation
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards
- Work closely with project and executive leadership
