Pearl Talent is looking for a Copywriter specializing in thought leadership and social media. You'll be responsible for executive ghostwriting for founder-led content and producing high-performing social copy, with a focus on Instagram carousels and LinkedIn posts. This is a strategic writing role, not a task-based execution role.
What You'll Do
- Ghostwrite long-form thought leadership content for LinkedIn, Medium, blogs, and industry publications.
- Conduct interviews with founders and senior leaders to extract insights and perspectives.
- Transform raw ideas and conversations into polished, persuasive written content that reflects the founder’s authentic voice.
- Research industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify content opportunities.
- Develop original frameworks and narratives that position founders as industry authorities.
- Build and manage a consistent publishing cadence for founder-led content.
- Collaborate with leadership to surface bold, contrarian, or unconventional ideas.
- Deep-dive into complex topics and distill them into clear, engaging narratives.
- Write high-engagement Instagram captions, Stories, and carousel copy aligned with brand voice.
- Create scroll-stopping carousel narratives with strong hooks, value delivery, and CTAs.
- Optimize copy for platform-specific best practices, including hashtags, character limits, and engagement mechanics.
- Develop content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, and cultural moments.
- A/B test hooks, formats, and copy approaches, iterating based on performance data.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of professional copywriting experience.
- Proven experience ghostwriting thought leadership content for founders or executives.
- Demonstrated success creating high-engagement or viral Instagram content, especially carousels.
- Strong portfolio showing range from long-form articles to short-form social copy.
- Excellent interviewing skills and ability to extract compelling narratives from stakeholders.
- Exceptional written English, grammar, and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of narrative structure, persuasion, and audience psychology.
Nice to Have
- Background in journalism, editorial writing, or agency environments.
- Experience with LinkedIn thought leadership optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO and content discoverability principles.
- Experience using AI writing tools to improve speed without sacrificing quality.
- Understanding of personal branding and executive brand-building strategies.
