Credit Karma is hiring a Senior Copywriter to craft compelling concepts and copy for a variety of marketing channels and initiatives, with proficiency in broadcast, digital, and social content. You'll join a multidisciplinary creative marketing team helping over 130 million members make financial progress.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with a team of experienced creatives to translate strong ideas into bold, breakthrough executions.
- Develop highly engaging content for multiple platforms, like TV, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Inspire and share knowledge of how to reach and engage a young 18-24 audience with the wider team.
- Bring fresh and innovative ideas that help scale the business through brand consideration and product awareness.
- Collaborate with marketing partners and agency partners to develop innovative campaigns.
- Set the creative bar for the brand and deliver work that directly impacts business outcomes.
- Scale creative ideas up or down as needed to nail the brief while staying on budget and accomplishing business goals.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years copywriting experience in-house and/or at an agency.
- A strong, diverse portfolio of high-performing, award-winning work demonstrating conceptual ideas, marketing, process, and solutions.
- A selection of video work that includes real examples of high-concept, high-performing, high-craft copywriting.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to edit your own work and make creative recommendations to key stakeholders.
- A proven knowledge of current social media marketing standard methodologies, the nuances of different social media platforms, and the power of short-form video.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects from concept to completion.
Nice to Have
- Experience with consumer finance.
- Experience working in a high-volume in-house studio.
- Strong organizational acumen, with the ability to quickly learn how to get things done within Credit Karma systems and structure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a dynamic speaker in front of peers and leaders.
