As a Texting Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping mobile engagement strategies for progressive campaigns and nonprofit organizations. You'll craft compelling text messages that drive fundraising, encourage civic action, and support causes like racial equity, climate justice, and reproductive rights—always reflecting the authentic voice of each client.
What You’ll Do
- Write and edit text messages for donation appeals, awareness campaigns, and mobilization efforts
- Configure and verify message builds in texting platforms to ensure technical accuracy
- Track project timelines, manage production schedules, and maintain internal reporting systems
- Collect and assess campaign performance data to inform future messaging strategies
- Contribute to A/B testing initiatives by helping design and deploy message variations
- Work closely with internal teams and client partners to refine and schedule message content
- Support the development of mobile-optimized landing and donation pages
- Stay informed about current events and policy developments impacting progressive work
- Take part in team meetings, client discussions, and creative planning sessions
- Assist with general coordination tasks as needed
Compensation & Environment
This is a hybrid position based in Washington, D.C., with remote flexibility. The annual salary is $57,000, with competitive benefits and membership in the Campaign Workers Guild. You’ll be part of a unionized team dedicated exclusively to advancing progressive missions through ethical, high-impact digital outreach.
