Requirements
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in HVAC, Computer Science or Computer Science related field and three years field experience;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Computers.
- Knowledge and understanding of various communications protocols used in the industry including BACnet, LonTalk and Modbus;
- familiarity with networking applications, Ethernet, TCP-IP, IP Networks and infrastructure;
- Valid driver's license,
- Universal EPA certification
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to talk and hear.

- Ability to pass drug screening

Nice to Have
- experience with Trane, Tridium, and/or Teletrol building automation is desired but experience with other control manufacturers such as Johnson Controls, Schneider, Honeywell, Siemens, Distech, etc. will also be considered.

- This position requires working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms and possible extreme weather conditions.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment.
- The associate is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration.
- The associate is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
