Responsibilities
- Support the design, coding, and validation of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems with oversight from engineering and maintenance staff.
- Help diagnose and resolve electrical and control system problems on manufacturing machinery.
- Contribute to the creation and revision of technical documents such as wiring schematics, operating instructions, and SOPs.
- Take part in setting up, starting up, and verifying equipment functionality.
- Gather and evaluate performance metrics from control systems to find areas for enhancement.
- Aid in the development and deployment of automation upgrades to improve safety, product quality, and production speed.
- Support change management for control systems, including maintaining version records and updating documentation.
- Work with teams across Maintenance, Operations, and Quality on integrated projects.
