Zeeco is hiring a Controls Engineer - Canada

Responsibilities

  • Own the electrical and controls scope for assigned projects from design through commissioning
  • Develop control system designs including: Electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and interconnection drawings
  • Develop control system designs including: Control panel layouts and specifications (PLC panels, MCCs, VFDs)
  • Develop control system designs including: Bills of material (BOMs) and instrument data sheets (IDS)
  • Create controls narratives, cause & effect diagrams, and PLC/HMI programs
  • Review project scope and proactively resolve gaps or ambiguities
  • Support field activities including startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and field teams to deliver high-quality systems
  • Assist with proposals, estimates, and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (CSA, NEC, NFPA, TSSA)
