Responsibilities
- Begin work once the customer order has been verified and officially released within the organization.
- Verify that the selected equipment, design, and operational parameters match what was originally quoted to the customer.
- Work with internal engineering departments to finalize equipment and component choices for combustion control systems.
- Use AutoCAD software to produce complete drafting packages for combustion systems.
- Design electrical wiring diagrams using ladder logic format.
- Develop programmable logic controller (PLC) layout plans.
- Create panel layout drawings for control systems.
- Produce comprehensive schematic designs for system integration.
- Generate accurate bills of materials for all system components.
- Apply compliance labels and tags in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, industry standards, and technical specifications.
- Communicate with Controls Engineers and Engineering Managers regarding system design and project timelines as necessary.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers on scheduling matters and to resolve customer inquiries.
- Carry out any additional tasks as directed by supervisors or project needs.
