Grifols is looking for a Controller to join our Global Biopharma Business. In this role, you will provide critical financial business support to management, analyze results versus the business plan, and lead product costing for the Biopharma Business Unit.
What You'll Do
- Provide financial business support to the company’s management and analyze actual results and variances compared to the business plan.
- Participate in the SAP S/4 HANNA migration, ensuring smooth transition across key business processes.
- Lead support and integration processes for new manufacturing plants within the controlling scope.
- Serve as the product costing lead for the Biopharma Business Unit.
- Perform month-end closing duties such as SAP reposting, analysis, and reporting of results.
- Support the forecast and budget processes for the Manufacturing area.
- Ensure accuracy and business understanding of information for stakeholder decision-making.
- Participate in corporate projects to improve business performance, including new IT tools and ‘best practices’ initiatives across global manufacturing plants.
- Assist in maintaining controlling Master Data.
- Perform assigned tasks using established procedures with sound judgment, evaluation, and critical thinking.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a controlling department.
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting, cost accounting concepts, and standard costing principles.
- Experience working with Material Ledger and Actual costing processes.
- Experience working on system integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (CAE qualified).
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong Excel skills, including knowledge of V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables, and basic accounting formulas.
- Ability to identify continuous improvement measures.
- Proactive, results-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
