Responsibilities
- Act as the main financial consultant for a portfolio of clients.
- Supervise and lead a group of accountants to ensure precise and timely financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver expert solutions to intricate financial issues and enhance operational workflows.
- Examine and interpret financial reports—including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements—in adherence to GAAP.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures to maintain accurate and efficient reporting.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to protect the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Oversee core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Utilize SAGE Intacct and QuickBooks Online for financial tracking, reporting, and automation of processes.
- Lead implementations of SAGE Intacct systems, ensuring smooth integration and improved accounting operations (preferred qualification).
- Direct accounting initiatives, ensuring timely completion of project goals and deliverables.
- Identify and execute opportunities to automate tasks and improve efficiency in accounting procedures and reporting frameworks.
