About the Role
This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end contract process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of agreements. The role ensures adherence to legal standards and internal policies while supporting cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead contract initiation, negotiation, and execution across departments
- Review and draft master service agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and finance teams on contract terms
- Maintain accurate contract records and centralized documentation
- Identify risks in contract language and propose mitigation strategies
- Support audits by providing timely access to contract data
- Track key milestones and obligations throughout contract lifecycle
- Develop and enforce standardized contract templates and workflows
- Provide guidance on contractual terms to internal stakeholders
- Manage relationships with external partners regarding contract terms
- Assist in onboarding third parties with contractual agreements
- Monitor contract renewals, expirations, and termination clauses
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality provisions are upheld
- Facilitate approvals through contract management systems
- Train teams on contract policies and procedures
- Evaluate vendor performance against contractual commitments
- Contribute to process improvements in contract operations
- Stay current on legal developments affecting contracts
- Support corporate governance through consistent contract practices
