What You'll Do
Lead the growth of system retrofit initiatives within the energy solutions space by shaping and executing targeted sales strategies. Engage directly with clients to assess energy performance needs, uncover retrofit potential, and align solutions with annual capital planning cycles.
Conduct on-site energy audits to evaluate building conditions and identify actionable improvements. Develop customized proposals for upgrading chiller plants, modernizing control systems with AI integration, enhancing indoor air quality, and optimizing terminal equipment. Present technically grounded, cost-effective solutions that meet client objectives and sustainability goals.
Drive project acquisition from initial contact through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and financial follow-through. Maintain consistent communication with key accounts, including property managers, industrial facilities, data centers, and hospitality operators, to strengthen long-term partnerships.
Stay informed on regional market dynamics and competitive offerings to uncover new business avenues. Support technology adoption through customer-facing technical discussions and align outreach with broader marketing initiatives. Collaborate across engineering, operations, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of integrated system upgrades.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field such as HVAC, refrigeration, building systems engineering, electrical engineering, or related disciplines. Bring at least five years of hands-on experience selling energy retrofit systems or mechanical and electrical engineering solutions.
Demonstrate established relationships with clients in existing building sectors—including high-end real estate, industrial manufacturing, life sciences, data infrastructure, and food production. Possess strong familiarity with construction workflows, project estimating, and technical documentation.
Be able to interpret mechanical drawings and develop basic schematics for HVAC and control systems. Show a proven ability to deliver technical presentations independently and engage clients on engineering-driven value propositions.
Exhibit a goal-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning. Be comfortable traveling regularly within the assigned region to support site assessments and client meetings.
Work effectively in English, both written and spoken, to communicate technical details and commercial terms clearly.
