AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this pivotal role, you will focus on pre-contract cost management, procurement, and commercial risk for major infrastructure developments. You will be instrumental in ensuring financial and commercial discipline from project inception.
What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation of pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Develop and manage Bills of Quantities and pre-tender estimates using CESSM and other industry standards.
- Support the development of procurement strategies, including packaging, tendering, and contract formation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between design intent and cost objectives.
- Prepare and review tender documentation, including pricing schedules and contract conditions.
- Conduct market analysis and engage with the supply chain to inform cost data and procurement planning.
- Assist in risk and value management and cost control functions.
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Attend and represent the commercial function at project meetings.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Middle East.
- A minimum of 3 years of specific experience in the UAE.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Possess a solid project background and proven English language technical writing ability.
- Strong background in pre-contract quantity surveying for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including masterplanning.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with major international events, such as expos, sports events, or cultural festivals, is preferred.
