Directive Consulting is looking for a Content Strategist for a future remote opening in Canada. In this crucial, client-facing role, you will be responsible for creating and managing custom client strategies, focusing on Enterprise clients and understanding the holistic impact on their marketing strategy.
What You'll Do
- Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve NSMs, using project phases, goals, campaigns, and historical performance.
- Craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns with a focus on ideation based on competitor and audience insights.
- Use data from tools like Google Analytics, CRM, and SEMRush to set and present client goals, with approval from an Associate Director.
- Manage project execution using Asana, delegating tasks to team members and clients, and ensuring timely completion.
- Work closely with content writers and designers to complete content campaigns on time and to client quality standards.
- Serve as the main interface between clients and the team, building relationships and proactively communicating on timelines, goal progress, and changes.
- Report to clients bi-weekly on NSM progress and deliverables, and provide monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business review presentations.
- Regularly look for opportunities for client growth within Directive, such as expanding service lines or budgets, and seek referrals.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record of success implementing SEO principles and content strategy: keyword research, on-page optimisation, and link building.
- Analytical insight: ability to analyse website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
- Strong communication skills: comfortable client facing and owning relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog/crawling tools.
- Proven organisational, project, and time management skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO and content.
- Must have agency experience.
- Must have B2B tech and/or SaaS experience.
