Directive is hiring a SEO Manager (Remote Mexico) - Future Opening

About the Role

Directive Consulting is building our team for a future opening for an SEO Manager based in Mexico. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for creating custom marketing strategies and managing day-to-day deliverables for Enterprise clients. You'll use your deep knowledge of SEO and content to build holistic strategies that achieve client goals.

What You'll Do

  • Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve NSMs.
  • Use project phase, client marketing goals, campaigns, and historical performance to build and optimize strategies.
  • Work closely with Associate Director when roadblocks arise impacting strategy and goal attainment.
  • Craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights.
  • Use data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs to set and present client goals.
  • Manage projects using Asana, delegating tasks to team members and clients to ensure timely completion.
  • Partner with Project Managers in pods to ensure tasks are created, assigned, and communicated.
  • Work with content writers and designers to complete content campaigns on time and to client standards.
  • Build relationships with clients and proactively communicate timeline expectations, goal progress, and deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate with internal leadership about roadblocks, growth opportunities, and account changes.
  • Report to clients bi-weekly on NSM progress and deliverables, and provide monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business reviews.
  • Regularly look for opportunities for clients to grow their business with Directive through upselling, cross-selling, or referrals.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record of success implementing SEO principles and content strategy: keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
  • Analytical insight: ability to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Strong communication skills: comfortable client facing and owning relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog/crawling tools.
  • Proven organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO and Content.
  • Must have agency experience.
  • Must have B2B tech and/or SaaS experience.

You will work closely with an Associate Director, Project Managers, content writers, and designers, reporting to the Associate Director (AsD).
