What You'll Do
In this role, you'll serve as a trusted point of contact for members, guiding them through account openings, loan applications, and product enrollment using phone, chat, and email. You’ll manage a steady flow of interactions in a high-volume setting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency with every engagement.
You’ll proactively reach out to prospects, maintain active outreach lists, and cultivate relationships by listening to member needs and recommending appropriate financial services. This includes referring mortgage, insurance, and investment options as well as verifying identities and safeguarding confidential information.
Success means consistently meeting performance targets, deepening product knowledge, and adapting quickly to evolving member needs—all while delivering a professional, consultative experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- At least one year of sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions via phone, email, and chat
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proven success in outbound outreach and generating new business
- Skill in identifying customer needs and offering relevant financial solutions
- Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal abilities
- Organized time management and strong attention to detail
- Basic proficiency with Windows-based software
- Intermediate math skills for routine calculations
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 20MB upload, 50MB download, 60ms or less latency)
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Candidates who are bilingual may qualify for a premium pay rate after passing a language proficiency exam and completing 90 days of employment.
Work Mode
This position is primarily remote, available to residents of the Charleston Metro Area, Columbia Metro Area, Myrtle Beach, Florence, and Greenville/Spartanburg regions. Occasional onsite presence may be required. Initial training is conducted in person at the North Charleston, SC headquarters and lasts approximately four weeks, starting on the first Monday of each month.
