About the Role
This position leads financial control functions for client engagements, managing accounting integrity, reporting standards, and compliance protocols across advisory projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger integrity and month-end close processes
- Manage preparation of financial statements in compliance with standards
- Coordinate internal and external audit requests
- Monitor financial controls across client portfolios
- Lead variance analysis between actual and forecasted results
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Supervise intercompany transaction reconciliations
- Develop standardized reporting templates for client deliverables
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with engagement teams on financial data accuracy
- Implement process improvements in financial reporting
- Track key performance indicators for financial health
- Review journal entries and adjusting entries
- Maintain documentation for financial audits
- Assist in the development of internal control frameworks
- Provide guidance on revenue recognition practices
- Evaluate accounting impacts of client business changes
- Ensure timely submission of financial packages
- Partner with technology teams on system enhancements
- Train team members on financial reporting tools
- Monitor compliance with SOX-related controls
- Escalate financial risks to senior leadership
- Maintain consistent communication with client finance leads
- Support integration of new clients into reporting systems
- Conduct periodic financial health assessments
Nice to Have
- MBA or master's degree in accounting
- Experience in advisory or management consulting
- CFA or other advanced finance credential
