Mediix is looking for a Consultant Paediatrician to join a large, well-supported regional centre in Western Australia. You will provide essential paediatric and neonatal services, including outreach to surrounding communities, in this permanent or fixed-term role offering a highly competitive remuneration package and lifestyle benefits.
What You'll Do
- Provide acute and chronic paediatric care.
- Manage neonatal and emergency presentations.
- Gain exposure to developmental paediatrics.
- Take on on-call responsibilities.
- Teach and supervise junior medical staff.
- Actively involve yourself in clinical governance and service improvement.
What We're Looking For
- FRACP (Paediatrics & Child Health) or an equivalent qualification.
- Eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
- A strong interest in neonatal and developmental paediatrics.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- A commitment to culturally respectful healthcare delivery.
Team & Environment
You will join an established, collaborative team in an expanding regional centre, working alongside Consultant Paediatricians, a Senior Registrar, Registrar, Residents & Interns, and a Dedicated Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist.

- Total package approximately $412,000 – $523,000 per annum (inclusive of base, 12% super & regional allowances).
