Sia is hiring a Consultant to support our organization in providing program management services to life sciences companies and institutions. Your primary focus will be advancing novel life science products, particularly in areas of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense, infectious diseases, and other public health threats. This role is specifically designed to develop future technical and program leaders within our Life Science and Healthcare Business Unit (Sia/LBG).

What You'll Do

• Write and develop technical solutions in response to government solicitations.
• Facilitate government solicitation response submissions and support end-to-end proposal development activities.
• Provide programmatic support and work closely with the LBG Program Manager to manage the successful planning and delivery of government and commercial programs.
• Manage and develop non-government organizations (NGOs) and government solicitation responses.
• Develop proposal plans, compliance matrices and tracking tools to enable successful proposal submissions.
• Develop and maintain core program artifacts, including integrated Gantt charts, statements of work (SOWs), and work breakdown structures (WBS) to support complex, multi-year programs.
• Lead and assist in the management of day-to-day project activities, including organizing meetings, documenting minutes, tracking action items, and supporting required contractual reporting.
• Support coordination with subcontractors, CDMOs, academic partners, and clinical organizations, including scope development, task tracking, and integration of partner inputs.
• Assist in the technical review of new life science products and in tracking project specific budgets.
• Support client proposal development and lead/support market research activities as required.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Adhere to LBG quality standards for client deliverables.
• Support the identification and selling of commercial, government, and non-profit funded engagements.
• Support the drafting and editing of proposals, engagement documents, publications, white papers, and marketing materials.
• Support the management of existing and potential client relationships and the planning of sales and marketing activities.
• Support the creation of internal tools, systems, methods and materials that help the Company perform more efficiently.
• Support the creation and delivery of publications and presentations that build the Company’s reputation.
• Support the management and overhead activities of the Company, such as Recruiting, Staff Training, Development and Mentoring.

What We're Looking For

• A BS degree is required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a consulting and/or life sciences/biotech field.
• A professional communication style and 100% dedication to client satisfaction and support.
• Proficiency with Artificial Intelligence/Generative AI products.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• The ability to work independently or in collaboration with others.

Nice to Have

• A PhD is preferred.
• Experience writing proposals and grants.
• A scientific background.

• Compensation: $62,000-$74,000 annual base salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid role with primary market office locations in New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco.
