NWN is hiring a Consultant Engineer - Juniper Networks

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, configure, diagnose, and migrate Juniper Networks platforms, demonstrating proficiency in JunOS, Juniper Mist deployment strategies, and advanced to expert-level knowledge of Juniper routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Execute assigned tasks under the direction of Project Managers or technical leads.
  • Build deep expertise in enterprise data infrastructure technologies from vendors such as Juniper, Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, or Fortinet.
  • Accurately and consistently log client work, service requests, and related documentation, including daily timesheet entries.
  • Achieve established billable and chargeable hour goals defined by the organization.
  • Ensure billable time reflects activities such as system assessments, planning, architecture design, configuration, deployment, and technical support.
  • Attend training seminars and sessions as directed by the Professional Services leadership.
  • Travel to client locations when necessary for project execution.
  • Maintain reliable access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Engage directly with clients to resolve technical issues before, during, and after service engagements.
  • Be available for after-hours or weekend support during system cutover events or escalated incidents.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and suggestions to management for improving service quality and client outcomes.
  • Obtain required technical certifications according to the defined training roadmap.
  • Assist presales teams with scoping and defining technical solutions.
  • Develop, test, and validate new technical solutions and produce standardized runbooks.
  • Guide and support less experienced technical team members through mentorship.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
