Resolve to Save Lives is hiring a Consultant: Cost-Effectiveness Assessment and Internal Modeling

Responsibilities

  • Create an internal framework to assess cost-effectiveness tailored to organizational needs
  • Apply the framework to evaluate high-priority programs and initiatives
  • Engage with internal teams to refine models based on feedback and practical constraints
  • Deliver training and support to ensure long-term use of the modeling tools within the organization
  • Prepare analysis and documentation for presentation to funders and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven track record in performing cost-effectiveness analyses for funders aligned with effective altruism principles
  • Direct experience developing and using practical models in real-world settings, not limited to theoretical research
  • Understanding of concepts including counterfactual impact, attribution, policy influence, and handling uncertainty
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with non-specialists and convert technical insights into usable tools

Nice to Have

  • Prior work involving global health programs or policy-related interventions

  • Estimated level of effort: approximately 30–50% time, depending on phase of work
