Turner & Townsend is hiring a Consultant - Contracts Administrator - Remote location

About the Role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Consultant/Senior Consultant - Contracts Administrator with hands-on experience in standard contracts, claims management, and dispute resolution within the built environment sectors. With a ‘can do’ attitude and commercial acumen, you will provide best-in-class advice for our clients in a remote capacity.

What You'll Do

  • Provide contract and claims services in the property sector.
  • Deliver consultancy services on live contracts and projects in distress.
  • Apply methodical analytical skills with a flexible approach to service delivery.
  • Compile claim reports.
  • Prepare and support on major bid proposals.
  • Provide best-in-class claims and dispute management advice for clients.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • A demonstrable track record of providing contract and claims services in the property sector.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentational skills for client-facing work.
  • Experience across a variety of construction sectors and project types.
  • Strong contract administration and commercial management experience on major projects.
  • Experience with FIDIC and other standard form contracts and their processes.
  • Proven experience compiling claim reports.
  • Experience with arbitration and/or litigation processes.
  • Experience in performance forensics, whether from a quantum or delay background.

Nice to Have

  • An MSc in Construction Law or similar (or currently undertaking).
  • A chartered status such as MCIArb, MCIOB, MRICS, or FRICS.
