Responsibilities
- Experience in a variety of construction sectors and project type
- Strong contract administration experience
- Strong commercial management experience on major projects
- Experience of FIDIC and other standard form contracts and the relevant processes and procedures
- Experience of compiling claim reports
- Experience of arbitration and/or litigation processes
- Confident in a client facing environment, with good presentational skills
- Experience of performance forensics, whether from a quantum or delay background
- Application of methodical analytical skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach to service delivery under a number of challenging scenarios
- Experience of providing consultancy services on live contracts and projects in distress an advantage
- Able to prepare and support on major bid proposals
Requirements
- Must hold a Quantity surveying, civil engineering or construction management degree qualification
- Demonstrable track record of providing contract and claims services in the property sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- MSc Construction Law or similar desirable (or currently undertaking)
- MCIArb, MCIOB, MRICS or FRICS chartered preferred
