Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of business systems within assigned project areas
- Clarify unclear problems by defining project boundaries, requirements, and potential solution paths
- Convert business objectives into actionable technical specifications, user stories, and system designs
- Create and maintain documentation including process flows, requirements, system specs, and data interface details
- Evaluate existing processes and systems to uncover inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Assist in designing improved workflows that support business goals and system functionality
- Use data analysis to confirm assumptions, detect patterns, and guide strategic decisions
- Write and run SQL or equivalent queries to examine, verify, and resolve data issues across platforms
- Examine and document data flows between systems, including integrations, data transformations, and dependencies
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Participate in solution design discussions covering system architecture, data structures, and integration methods
- Support testing, debugging, and deployment activities, including UAT, code reviews, and issue resolution
- Help diagnose system and data problems by coordinating between business and technical groups
- Ensure implemented solutions are functional, user-friendly, and achieve desired results
- Engage with client stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to executive leadership
- Bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams to maintain alignment
- Explain technical topics clearly to audiences without technical backgrounds
- Manage consulting project demands, adapting to shifting priorities, timelines, and client expectations
- Develop trusted advisor relationships through consistent delivery and transparent communication
- Work alongside consultants and leaders to provide high-quality service outcomes
