The Oregon Youth Authority is hiring a Construction Project Manager 1 - Limited Duration to lead and coordinate construction and remodel projects across our facilities. In this role, you will ensure projects align with agency goals, manage contracts, and provide thorough inspection services while upholding high standards of integrity and quality.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate construction and remodel projects across the agency.
- Manage projects in alignment with agency goals.
- Execute contract administration.
- Ensure compliance throughout each project's lifecycle.
- Provide thorough inspection services.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Architecture, Planning, or Engineering AND one year of related experience.
- OR an Associate Degree (or comparable college course work) in Architectural, Engineering or Construction technology AND 30 months of related experience.
- OR four years of related experience.
Nice to Have
- Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP), Oregon Project Management Associate Certification (OPMA), or other related certification, which will substitute for 1 year of qualifying experience.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong business acumen.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to apply an equitable lens in all project work.
- Ability to prepare and provide project status reports.

- Compensation: $5,325 - $8,148 per month (non-PERS rate). Salary range increases by 6% for PERS eligible members.
