Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field inspection teams, offering guidance, mentorship, and performance management
- Ensure construction activities comply with contract specifications and project requirements
- Coordinate closely with project managers, engineering staff, and clients to align on project objectives
- Evaluate contractor performance by reviewing submittals and proposing corrective measures when needed
- Oversee the quality of construction materials and workmanship to meet project standards
- Provide on-site leadership by issuing field instructions and helping resolve construction challenges
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, preparing daily and weekly progress reports
- Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation and records
- Develop agendas, lead meetings, and document key outcomes and action items
- Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling initiatives
- Review certified payroll submissions for compliance with Davis-Bacon wage regulations
- Ensure as-built drawings are accurate, complete, and up to date
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of worksite safety and regulatory compliance
