Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year as needed
- Adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning needs
- Keep thorough and current records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply evidence-based teaching strategies in planning and instruction
- Maintain constructive student behavior and classroom discipline
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that reflect students’ varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student progress in academics and social-emotional areas
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and executing non-instructional school events when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional assigned duties as necessary
Compensation
The salary range is $38,500 to $48,000. Final placement depends on location, qualifications, education, experience, and skills.
