Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adapting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply instructional strategies grounded in educational research
- Oversee classroom behavior to ensure a productive learning environment
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student academic and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance learning outcomes
- Assist in organizing and running non-instructional school activities when necessary
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks as directed by school administration
