Provide dedicated college admissions guidance to high school students aiming for elite universities, with a strong emphasis on those pursuing computer science, engineering, and pre-med disciplines. Support each student through a comprehensive, multi-year process that includes academic planning, extracurricular development, and strategic application preparation.
What You'll Do
Develop tailored roadmaps for students, helping them identify competitive summer programs, research opportunities, internships, and leadership roles that strengthen their profiles. Design customized standardized testing strategies and assist in selecting the right exams based on individual goals. Build balanced college lists—categorizing institutions as reach, target, or safety—and advise on effective campus visits.
Lead students through every component of the application, including personal statements, activity descriptions, resumes, and essay revisions. Offer insight into early action, early decision, and regular decision timelines, as well as strategies for waitlist scenarios and final college selection. Provide clarity on financial aid and merit-based scholarship options.
Maintain consistent communication with students and their families, ensuring transparency and strong relationships. Prepare thoroughly for each session, log interactions promptly, and coordinate with internal resources to enhance student outcomes. Attend regular team meetings and stay updated through internal communications channels.
