This position provides support to on-site property management and program staff in meeting affordable housing regulatory standards, primarily within the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) framework. The role includes processing certifications, supporting audit activities, addressing compliance issues, and requires regular travel across New York State with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical guidance to property and program staff on compliance with affordable housing regulations
- Help conduct applicant interviews to determine eligibility
- Prepare and verify certification documentation, including income and eligibility calculations
- Perform regular internal audits of compliance files to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Develop written responses and corrective actions for compliance issues identified by investors or state agencies
- Use required forms, systems, and software to maintain compliance records
- Travel to various property locations using a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided

Compensation
Competitive wages, position paying $24.00-25.50/hour
