Responsibilities
- Evaluate, interpret, and resolve complicated litigated and non-litigated claims involving coverage and extra-contractual issues across various commercial insurance products such as auto, fleet, last-mile delivery, and trucking, in multiple jurisdictions.
- Guide claims professionals on handling high-complexity or large exposure coverage cases.
- Do not perform claim adjustments, evaluations, or disburse payments as part of core duties.
- Present cases to internal committees when approval is required beyond standard settlement authority.
- Serve as a key point of contact and subject matter authority on coverage and product-related topics for cross-functional initiatives and internal workgroups.
- Track and report on emerging trends, legal developments, and changes in state laws affecting coverage across all products and regions.
- Create and lead training sessions on product details and coverage policies for internal teams across departments and geographic areas.
