LifeNet Health is hiring a Community Engagement Coordinator to advance the mission of donation awareness across the Greater Richmond area. In this role, you will foster meaningful connections, deliver impactful education, and support strategic engagement initiatives to cultivate trust and inspire individuals to register as donors.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with community organizations, leaders, donor families, recipients, volunteers, and advocacy groups.
- Organize, promote, and attend events, workshops, and informational sessions to raise public awareness about organ and tissue donation.
- Create and distribute outreach materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital content.
- Deliver educational presentations tailored to diverse audiences including schools, multicultural organizations, faith-based organizations, healthcare organizations, and civic groups.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies, promotional programs, and public education initiatives.
- Execute community events, campaigns, and initiatives that promote donation awareness.
- Collect, track, and analyze community feedback, state registration rates, event evaluations, and other pertinent metrics.
- Collaborate with other organizations, community leaders, and stakeholders to create partnerships and expand program reach.
- Partner with internal teams such as communications, hospital development, national donor development, and donor family advocates to align messaging.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- One (1) year of community health and/or education, public relations, or related work experience.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of community health and/or education, public relations, or related work experience.
Work Mode
This is a remote role serving the Greater Richmond area, requiring a driver's license for community engagement activities.
