The Community Associate plays a central role in maintaining the daily functionality and positive atmosphere of the coworking environment. As the first point of contact for members and guests, this position combines administrative support with operational oversight to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional greeting to all members and visitors
- Oversee morning opening procedures and conduct routine checks of common areas
- Manage incoming calls and monitor shared email channels
- Handle mail and package logistics, including receipt, sorting, and dispatch
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and support audiovisual setups
- Support business concierge services such as printing, document handling, and supply management
- Supervise facility maintenance, coordinate repairs, and monitor electrical systems
- Respond appropriately to health emergencies and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Assist with onboarding new members, space tours, and event coordination
- Support feedback collection, online reviews, and compliance documentation
- Act as a representative of the organization’s values and service standards
Qualifications & Skills
Candidates should bring a proactive mindset and a strong customer service background, ideally from hospitality or front office roles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment such as printers and fax machines is essential. The ideal individual is organized, resourceful, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
