Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is looking for an entry-level Communications Specialist to join our dynamic global communications team. You’ll support strategic initiatives and content development for internal and external engagement across digital and internal channels.

What You'll Do

Assist in planning and executing internal and external communication initiatives, providing editorial support for web, intranet, and social media channels.
Support the development and optimization of multimedia content, including feature stories, blogs, and internal news, ensuring brand alignment.
Collaborate with senior communications specialists and business unit leaders to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Write, edit, and proofread a variety of content, including articles, announcements, and other communications materials.
Maintain and update the business unit’s intranet and internet content to enhance information flow and engagement.
Create high-quality visual content, including presentations, infographics, and branded visuals.
Contribute to internal engagement campaigns, employer branding initiatives, and high-impact communications projects.
Support key events and exhibitions in close collaboration with communications and marketing teams.
Back up the preparation of organizational announcements and updates to global organizational charts.
Manage content calendars, oversee deliverables, and ensure timely updates with internal teams.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Adobe Cloud Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, remote team environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ambition to grow as a business communications professional.

Video editing experience.
