MUBI is looking for a Communications Coordinator based in New York to join our US Communications team. You will play a key role in promoting our curated cinema releases, working closely with US Marketing and Distribution teams, as well as our Global and UK Communications colleagues.
What You'll Do
- Assist the US Communications team with campaigns for MUBI Releases, including press junkets, festival logistics, premieres, and special events.
- Collaborate with distribution and marketing teams to brainstorm campaign ideas.
- Partner with marketing on monthly content priorities to generate coverage and social conversation.
- Develop press kits for MUBI Releases in coordination with the creative team.
- Manage US press inquiries and route them appropriately.
- Book travel logistics and maintain schedules for talent.
- Process invoices and maintain release budgets.
- Track and report on press coverage.
- Manage physical press screenings.
- Send and track screener links.
- Assist with US awards campaigns.

- 1-2 years of experience as a communications assistant or coordinator.
- Working knowledge of software such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in film or entertainment, either agency-side or in-house.
- Knowledge of additional languages.

Team & Environment
You will work within the US Communications team, collaborating closely with the US Marketing and Distribution teams. You will also coordinate with Global and UK Communications teams based in London, New York, and Los Angeles.
