Cewas is hiring a Communications and Learning Management (CLM) Officer for the Lebanon/Jordan region to join our team implementing the Water & Energy for Food (WE4F) MENA program. You will coordinate the program's communications and learning management activities, implementing a strategy to attract innovators and ecosystem players while designing processes for knowledge sharing. You'll work closely with a decentralized team across MENA and Switzerland.
What You'll Do
- Support execution of communication and learning strategies at regional and country levels.
- Organize and plan a comprehensive social media content calendar yearly.
- Produce and publish communication materials like knowledge pieces, factsheets, blogs, and website content.
- Update and maintain WE4F’s website and online channels.
- Provide administrative and technical support for communication campaigns and learning events.
- Promote WE4F innovators by collecting and preparing content for online and offline channels.
- Plan and conduct site visits to innovators to document field activities and collect storytelling material.
- Coordinate archiving and processing of visual and narrative content into knowledge products.
- Assist in onboarding new innovators, including coordination of informational webinars and events.
- Provide follow-up support to innovators to ensure profiles and stories are updated.
- Support networking efforts, maintain contact lists, event trackers, and stakeholder distribution lists.
- Highlight WE4F innovators participating in regional and international events.
- Assist in organizing trainings, outreach activities, and events, including logistics and note-taking.
- Maintain and update the ‘WE4F Event Tracker’ and contribute to monthly reporting.
- Collect and compile inputs for monthly and annual reports on CLM achievements.
- Support documentation and dissemination of lessons learned and best practices.
- Contribute to updating and using the program’s CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with other Hub units to ensure alignment of messaging.
- Support general regional hub activities and team operations as requested.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Management, Communication, International Relations, Social Studies or any other relevant field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or administrative roles, preferably in an NGO setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
- Based in Jordan or Lebanon.

- Design skills.
- Enthusiastic about supporting innovation and capacity building in the environmental sector, particularly in water, energy, and food (WEFE).
- Motivated by learning about new topics in business, agriculture, and the environment.
- Strong communication and social media skills, with experience in managing communication strategies, social media channels, websites, and content creation (including visual design and video).
- Creative, with the ability to develop engaging content and concepts for knowledge tools.
- Experienced organizer, skilled in planning and running events, trainings, and workshops, and in networking to build partnerships.
- Excellent project management and time management skills.
- Professional network in the environmental, agricultural, and/or business sectors of the MENA region.
- Comfortable working in politically sensitive contexts and within multi-partner consortias.

Team & Environment
You will be part of a decentralized team in Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Switzerland and other countries in MENA. The role sits within a consortium implementing the Water & Energy for Food (WE4F) MENA program, where the CLM function is a regional unit cutting across all activities. You will report directly to the CLM Manager.
Work Mode
This is a local-country based position. You must be located in and working from either Lebanon or Jordan.
