Responsibilities
- Develop commercial intelligence to support site leadership and operations in making value-driven operational decisions.
- Support on-site capital business case modeling and advise disciplines on capital expenditure choices.
- Equip discipline managers with reporting tools to make informed decisions on equipment reliability, lifecycle management, and total ownership costs.
- Work with disciplines to build risk registers and deliver financial assessments of risk mitigation options, including cost and capital implications.
- Lead detailed discussions on variances from plan, identifying and explaining operational drivers behind financial outcomes.
- Conduct cost analyses for variance reporting, highlighting key findings and improvement opportunities for both capital and operating expenditures.
- Enable accurate and dependable forecasting and budgeting by incorporating risk and opportunity assessments.
- Deliver commercial analysis and strategic recommendations to support the Commercial Team’s objectives.
- Produce discipline-specific financial reports enriched with operational context to track performance against plan.
- Identify opportunities for commercial improvement and foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
