Superior Fence & Rail is hiring a Commercial Estimator/Business Development professional to build and fuel our commercial sales pipeline. This role is the front end of our commercial growth engine, focused on proactive sourcing, estimating, and cultivating long-term relationships.
What You'll Do
- Proactively prospect and source commercial fence, gate, and railing opportunities.
- Identify and track bid opportunities through platforms, plan rooms, and public procurement portals.
- Perform material takeoffs and create rough estimates from architectural and civil blueprints.
- Conduct cold outreach and relentlessly follow up to build relationships with General Contractors, developers, and commercial property managers.
- Build and maintain a CRM of active commercial buyers, logging all interactions and next actions.
- Qualify opportunities based on scope fit, geography, timeline, and budget feasibility.
- Hand off clean estimates to sales leadership for final pricing and track all bids through submission to award.
What We're Looking For
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Proven experience with commercial construction bids or estimating.
- Ability to read architectural and civil blueprints.
- Experience using PlanSwift or similar takeoff tools.
- Comfort with cold outreach and persistent follow-ups.
- Ability to work US business hours or maintain a significant daily overlap.
- A professional, quiet remote work setup with reliable high-speed internet.
- A strong Zoom presence and polished communication skills.
- The ability to balance client interactions with administrative responsibilities.
- Willingness to submit an introductory video as part of the hiring process.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fencing, steel, railing, or sitework trades.
- Experience working with US-based contractors.
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, PipeDrive).
- Background in construction procurement or General Contractor plan room operations.

Benefits & Compensation
- Base compensation: $1,500 USD/month.
