About the Role

The Commercial Banker will develop and manage relationships with commercial clients, assess creditworthiness, structure loan agreements, and support the growth of sustainable businesses through tailored financial products.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with commercial clients in Central Florida
Identify lending and banking needs of businesses
Conduct financial analysis to evaluate credit risk
Prepare and present loan proposals for underwriting
Negotiate loan terms and documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver financial solutions
Monitor portfolio performance and client account activity
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal credit policies
Support clients through loan lifecycle from origination to repayment
Promote sustainable finance initiatives to business customers
Attend community and industry events to generate leads
Meet or exceed individual performance targets
Maintain accurate client records and reporting
Stay current on market trends and economic conditions
Provide regular updates to management on pipeline and portfolio

Nice to Have

Experience in sustainable or mission-driven banking
Master's degree in business or finance
Existing network of business contacts in Central Florida
History of exceeding sales or lending targets
Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) or similar credential
