Young Life is seeking an Orlando Area Administrator to provide the essential administrative support that enables our field ministry office to function in an organized and efficient manner. This role is central to supporting our Christian mission of evangelism and discipleship.
What You'll Do
- Answer correspondence, handle mailings, and professionally manage phone, email, and voicemail communications.
- Gather content, layout, and produce the area newsletter.
- Create postcards, flyers, and maps for club events and other ministry activities.
- Send prayer emails, monthly updates, and personal support mailings.
- Create and maintain the area website and send thank-you letters to donors.
- Interact with a wide range of staff, committee members, and volunteer leaders.
- Process and track donations while maintaining donor and leader databases.
- Keep leader forms, driver questionnaires, and criminal background checks up-to-date.
- Manage monthly expenses and budgets, including bank account records, expense reports, and financial tracking.
- Pay bills, submit financial documents, and evaluate the monthly financial status.
- Maintain multiple contact databases for donors, kids, parents, newsletter recipients, and event guests.
- Track and report vacation, sick, and personal days for staff; submit timesheets and personnel action requests.
- Coordinate area meetings for staff, leadership, and committee.
- Manage camp administration including tracking participation, payments, health forms, and fundraising.
- Coordinate banquet, golf marathon, and auction events from invitation creation to guest tracking.
- Provide training to area staff and volunteers on administrative processes and applications.
What We're Looking For
- High school education or its equivalent.
- Ability to type 55 to 60 words per minute with few errors.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process.
- Capability of handling concurrent tasks and constant interruptions.
- Good grammar skills and strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic accounting skills.
- Detail-oriented multi-tasking ability.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Initiative with developing processes and systems for event data organization and maintenance.
- Great customer service skills.
Nice to Have
- Associate's degree.
- Previous administrative assistant experience.

This is an onsite position in the Orlando area.
