Position Overview This role provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of a youth-focused ministry in the Orlando area. The administrator manages day-to-day office responsibilities while upholding the organization’s Christian mission and commitment to discipleship.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming correspondence, phone calls, emails, and voicemail with professionalism and timeliness
- Prepare and distribute newsletters, flyers, postcards, and event materials in coordination with staff
- Maintain and update digital and physical databases for donors, volunteers, and participants
- Manage donor relations by processing contributions, tracking payments, and sending thank-you letters
- Oversee financial tasks including expense reporting, budget tracking, and monthly account reconciliation
- Coordinate internal and external events such as leadership meetings, banquets, and youth camps
- Support volunteer and staff onboarding, timesheet processing, and personnel documentation
- Communicate with parents regarding camp logistics, health forms, and sign-up procedures
- Produce event materials including invitations, donor packets, programs, and promotional brochures
- Train team members on administrative systems and digital tools used in field operations
Qualifications
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to type 55–60 words per minute accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong organizational abilities are essential. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, multitasking capability, and excellent communication skills.
A personal commitment to Christian faith is required. Applicants must affirm belief in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, align with the organization’s Statement of Faith, and adhere to biblical standards in conduct and communication. Experience in administrative support or an associate degree is preferred.
